Welcome to Mr Dhow Cruise. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website mrdhowcruise.com and your booking of any cruise or activity through us. By booking with us or using our website, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. About Us
Mr Dhow Cruise is a Dubai-based dhow cruise booking platform. We partner with licensed cruise operators to offer dhow cruises, yacht cruises, desert safaris and related experiences across Dubai Marina, Dubai Creek, the Dubai Water Canal and other locations. We act as a booking agent connecting you with these operators.
2. Bookings
- All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
- You must provide accurate information (name, contact number, guest count, date) when booking.
- A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation from us via WhatsApp, email or phone.
- You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. Bookings that include children are made by the accompanying adult.
- It is your responsibility to arrive at the correct boarding point at the specified time.
3. Prices and Payment
- All prices are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are per person unless stated otherwise.
- Prices may change without notice, but the price confirmed at the time of booking is the price you pay.
- Payment may be made securely online through third-party gateways, or on arrival, as specified at the time of booking.
- Special-event pricing (such as New Year’s Eve) may differ from standard rates and may be dynamic.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
- Standard cruises may offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure, unless stated otherwise at booking.
- Special-event bookings (such as New Year’s Eve) are often non-refundable and non-cancellable once confirmed. The applicable policy is shown at the time of booking.
- Late arrivals or no-shows are not eligible for a refund.
- If we or the operator cancel a cruise due to unavailability, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.
- Approved refunds are processed within 7 to 14 business days.
5. Changes by the Operator
For the safety of all guests, the operator or captain may cancel, delay, reschedule or change the route of a cruise due to bad weather, rough sea conditions, mechanical issues, or instructions from the coast guard or authorities. In such cases, our and the operator’s liability is limited to a refund of the amount paid.
6. Your Responsibilities
- Carry a valid Emirates ID or passport for identification when required.
- Arrive at the boarding point ahead of the scheduled departure, as cruises leave on time and cannot wait for late guests.
- Dress appropriately; beachwear, flip-flops and revealing clothing may not be permitted on some cruises.
- Do not bring outside food or alcoholic beverages unless expressly permitted.
- Supervise children at all times during the cruise.
- Consume any alcohol responsibly and follow all onboard safety instructions.
7. Transfers
Hotel pickup and drop-off are optional and available at an additional charge. Transfer timings may vary depending on traffic and location, especially during peak periods and public holidays. Pickups may not be possible from areas affected by road closures. We do not provide airport transfers.
8. Liability
Mr Dhow Cruise acts as a booking agent between you and licensed cruise operators. While we take care to work only with reputable, licensed operators, we are not liable for personal injury, loss or damage to property, missed experiences (including fireworks) or any circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as weather conditions. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the booking.
9. Health and Safety
You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to participate in the activity you book. Please inform us of any medical conditions, accessibility needs or dietary requirements at the time of booking so we can advise the operator where possible. Follow all safety instructions given by the onboard crew.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on mrdhowcruise.com — including text, images, logos and design — is the property of Mr Dhow Cruise or our partners and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use our content without our written permission.
11. Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, such as partner operators or payment providers. We are not responsible for the content, policies or practices of these external sites.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
